Stonegate School Counseling Program Mission Statement:
The mission of the school counseling program at Stonegate Elementary School is to inspire all students to reach their maximum potential through a positive and engaging learning environment. We implement a program that supports academic, career, and social/emotional learning, with which students become college-and career-ready. Through collaboration with all stakeholders, students develop a sense of community, develop cultural awareness, and experience equitable access to the Stonegate counseling program.
Stonegate School Counseling Program Vision Statement:
Stonegate Elementary School students believe they are a part of a community that values One Team, Student’s First. All students know their worth, and are inspired to advocate for successes in all areas of their life. They are committed to their own autonomy and personal growth. As problem-solvers, and critical thinkers they socially, emotionally, and academically prepared to be lifelong learners.
Education: I have a B.A. in Exercise Science from Manhattan College and an M.Ed. in School Counseling from Loyola University Maryland.
Experience: This is my 1st year serving as an elementary school counselor here at Stonegate Elementary!
All About Me: I was born and raised in Central New York, and moved to Maryland 4 years ago for graduate school. I fell in love with Maryland and never looked back! I am getting married in October 2020, and next year will be Mrs. Toohey. My fiancé and I have a goofy, and adorable chocolate Goldendoodle named Frannie. In my free time I love reading, antiquing, crafting and spending time eating and hanging out with friends and family.

I LOVE YELLOW! There's no other color that literally brightens your day!

I used to be a Division I soccer player.
3.
I worked on a farm bailing hay for 3 years.

My favorite food is ice cream. If I could eat it all day everyday I would be in my Happy Place!
5.
I founded my own volunteer project - Cards for a Cause. It still exists today at Manhattan College.
